Felicity's Philosophy:

I love my work! Photography brings me an intense joy; it lets me express my creative passion with people who bring their own stories and talent to each shoot. That the locations, faces, make-up, sets, and intentions are continually changing is so exciting and a welcome challenge for me every time.

I am so lucky that I'm able to further my mission through photography. I believe photographs are a powerful medium to inspire people, especially to get up, get moving and enjoy life! Creating beautiful and exciting images is my way of encouraging positive changes in the media, in our lives, maybe even around the world. I see this as a gift.

About Felicity:

Felicity Murphy is a Los Angeles-based photographer specializing in commercial athletic, lifestyle and portrait photography. Her clients include a range of creatives; from professional athletes, yogis, and designers to the agencies, advertising firms and publications that represent and showcase them. A shooter from early on, Felicity was introduced to the art and began developing her eye with the help of her mother, Lucinda Friendly Murphy, a painter with an open mind and energized spirit who greatly influenced her absorption of the world. Her formal training in photography began with Frank Lavelle of the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. Later she studied with Albert Chong at the University of Colorado's School of Fine Arts. However, Felicity considers herself very much self-taught and embraces the idea of life-long learning through experience.
